Your own personalized version of "Happy Happy Happy Birthday"! - Now you can purchase a personalized copy of "Happy Happy Birthday" for $50! I'll insert the name of your choosing into the song at the point where I sing a name and send it along with a handwritten note by me on a CDR. Just send me an email requesting my address then send a payment along with the info for it and I'll send it along! Make your Cat Video for YouTube.com Would you like to make a video of your cat and put in on YouTube with a cat themed song put to it? Well you can use songs from “The Cat Album” for free! There would be no fee for the use of my song for your video at YouTube as long as you don't receive compensation for its use there. The only thing I would require is that you list my name, the song title and that it’s from “The Cat Album”, and if possible my website address here- dougnewman.com, and if you ever do you receive some compensation for your video from YouTube or elsewhere, then compensation and licensing fees would apply at a negotiated rate, which would be the normal rate that’s given for such. So as long as it’s posted at YouTube for free no monetary compensation would be necessary. I will require that I preview all videos to make sure they’re in good taste, before granting permission to use the song. |

RockStar, the Art of Musicians |
I'm excited to be on the bill as a performer (although it looks like I can't make the concert to perform) and art exhibitor for a show in the desert of Joshua Tree, CA called "RockStar, the Art of Musicians", that's being put on by my friend Shari Elf- sharielf.com, that's going to have some really well known perfomers that will be showing some artwork of their's- like Graham Nash, Ann Magnuson, Daniel Johnston, Victoria Williams, Rennie Sparks (Handsome Family) and Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blond,)- sharielf.com/news.html, along with lesser known performers like myself. I'm going to be showing some of my foam fish sculptures that I made back while I was trying to come up with some art work for "Bugs and Critters". I was going to be performing, but due to car problems and family visiting from out of town, I'm not going to be able to perform at the concert on Sunday. Here's Shari's info/ release about the event: |
